Kayman began chomping down on a plate of chicken tenders he ordered, showing some lack of edicate versus his older brother who, despite being a blackhole for food (As he, like Kayman, no longer has the ability to sense when he's hungry or full), would take a lot longer to savor the taste than just biting and swallowing.
Mose sat on a bench, sipping a bottle of water as he watches Lila and Kru paint the exterior of the building with silver and white paint. He contemplates whether they should add some more color, but decides to stay out of it as he has known them to be completely stubborn when someone else tries to interject with suggestions for decorations.

"Princess, does something trouble you?" One of the guards asked upon noticing her solemn expression.
"No... no, I'm merely weary... these past two days have been quite exasperating," Mira replied, setting her cup down thoughtfully.
The guard nodded, satisfied with her answer as if nothing less should have been expected, "Your father will be greatly missed. Forgive me for saying so, but we should be heading back before long. I fear that a few of the noble families do not agree with you and may attempt to be rid of you..."
"So as to have someone more suited to their tastes and easier to control sworn in," Mira sighed, resting her cheek in her hand, "I'm quite aware of that.. but we truly must be more receptive to outside help. Father put it off for far too long... he knew the turmoil it would cause should he suggest it."

Kayman eyes the conversation from afar, not wanting to draw too much attention to himself, nor wanting anything to do with something he really shouldn't be involving others in, sketchy about what would happen if they did offer some kind of hand to keeping this planet up to snuff with the current events. It wasn't really his place to make decisions that would involve the rest of the council.

"For now, enjoy the peace of our nations while it lasts... I fear that there may be trouble looming on the horizon," Mira sighed before finishing off her tea.
The guard clapped a fist over his heart in a show of devotion, "No matter what comes, the Order of Two Moons will follow your word. We had great trust in your father and know that he would not have chosen you if you were not capable of handling things."
Mira brightened at this, giving a thankful smile, "Thank you. they may have been mere words to you, but to me they are what give me the strength to keep going knowing that my people have faith in me."
"Would you truly place yourself in battle though?" He asked, seeming concerned about this.
"I would," Mira replied without hesitating, "I have been tutored in many things since I could walk... among them the use of magic and fighting strategies. As I said, I would not send my men into something that I myself would avoid."
"I'm sure the men would be honoured if you were fighting by their side," he replied, slightly surprised by her conviction.

Kayman snorts silently as he pays for his food and gets up to leave, not giving anoher glance to the conversation he intentionally overheard. He makes his way back to Mose and the others, not bothering to ask how the trade shop had been finished so quickly.
Lila and Kru finished setting up shelves and glasses around the shop, beginning the process of warping in and placing more trinkets onto them. The more glamorous were placed behind the glass with moderately expensive prices, while the common trinkets were placed in boxes and unprotected shelves with cheap prices. A seperate desk has been placed to the side for customers who want to trade in their items for money, or a foreign item that matched the value of what they trade in.
Though Kayman still had doubts that they should be revealing more of their background a lot faster than he would like, he doesn't make anymore objections, having finally accepted their optimism and choosing to back away and just monitor what happens once the shop opens.

Mira head back for the palace once she'd finished, feeling better then before she'd left and more willing to deal with what had to be dealt with in preparation for housing any guests from planets that might arrive once she sent word out of open borders.

After the shop had finally been set up, Lila and Kru high five each other as a mock celebration for the start of their store.
"Yata! We did it!" Lila mews, "Now we wait until morning and open shop!"
The two then look over to Mose and Kayman, speaking in unison, "And since you two don't sleep anymore, you can stay here and keep watch to make sure no one gets inside!"
"Say what!?" Kayman exclaims, "I didn't ask for this!"
Mose slaps him upside the head, "It's not like we have anythign else better to do besides run holes in our quarters trying to find solutions to better quell the conflict going on around us. Standing guard is the best way to relieve stress and maybe punch some faces if they try to find a way inside."
Kayman glares at him while rubbing the bruise on the back of his head before tsking and heading to the back of the shop to take position.

Mira finally retired to her quarters after the sun had long since set, already planning for the next day. For the first while as she grew accustomed to her new position, she would have no rest for her mind no doubt, and in light of recent events, she was considering running a festival to lighten the hearts and minds of her people, knowing full too well herself that a break would be much needed.

While Lila and Kru warped back home to rest for the night, Kayman and Mose stood watch aroudn the shop, morphing black, hooded, monk-like cloaks over their current clothing and camping out on the room for the rest of the night while keeping both and eye, ear and spirit out for any sneaky intruders that might try to break in and steal all the foreign items stored inside.

Mira set about putting her plan into motion the next day, seeking out help among the palace staff in terms of getting the word out and things set up. While she knew that there were things that should be taken care of, the staff seemed happy enough to work on setting up a festival rather then doing as they'd normally do.

As the quad were opening up shop, they overheard rumors of a festival brewing up among the lands. Lila and Kru look to each other in more anticipation.
"Festival, huh?" Lila purrs, "This'll be the best way for us to continue researching and making more money."
Kayman just sighs at this point, knowing his words were just going to be drowned out other opinions. His only concern is how far they were going to go before their intentions of introducing the nation to Cygaxia ended up becoming a huge misunderstanding.

It was nearing midday when the palace grounds were finally opened up to the public for the festival taking place, Mira having managed to get quite a few involved in the handling of it. Numerous tables were set up with various dishes and gifts to be handed out with good tidings. She'd managed to convince a couple of the Magi to join them so that those who wanted to learn a bit more about the basic uses of magic could do so without the rigorous training that usually followed along with different games set up for child and adult alike.

While Lila and Kru tended to the trade shop on the outskirts of the city, Mose and Kayman enters the festival, observing the games, dishes and gifts they had to offer. While the younger of the dhampir brothers observed the demonstration with magic, the eldest checks out the many stands making up the festivals.

Mira mingled among the people, stopping to talk and give advice as she went while seeing to it that everything went smoothly. When night fell, she had planned to open the halls for a dance to end of the festivities in a memorable way.

Mose had managed to bag himself a few souvenirs from the games he played, and a couple snacks for Lila and Kru later on.
Kayman, unfortunately, nearly got chased out of the training grounds after misinterpreting one of the Magi's instructions by using the fire from his fury spirit energy to blow up a row of straw dummies and causing an almost burning the training grounds to ashes.
The two stood in the background of the halls once they opened and observed the people dancing inside. They hardly dressed for the occassion, prefering to just stick with the clothes they wore instead of getting fancy and mingling with the waltzing crowd.
