Mira sat at a table with her mother, watching over the crowd and enjoying the time to relax while she could.

Lila and Kru eventually show up to the dance floor, prompting Kayman to head back to the store and keep watch (As he was trying to avoid being blamed for the incident with the magic training). They tried to dance with some of the lone men in the halls, but their animal-like appearance made them shudder and back away rather than accepting their offer. Mose could only watch in half amusement at their failure in mingling more with the crowd.

Mira got up after a moment to dance with one of the men that had been brave enough to take the chance, recalling on how she used to dance with her father all the time when she had been much younger.

Lila and Kru gave up after a while and mope back over to the table Mose sat at, the Ny-Bold picking up a grail of milk and licking at it while Kru dropped her chin on the table and taps it with her finger.
"It could be a while before they get used to the sight of a cat and turtle creature wandering these floating grounds," Mose said before munching on some honey cake he bought earlier.
"A long while," Kru mutters in disappointment.
"A very long while," Lila mews sadly while drooping her ears in equal disappointment.

Mira moved from partner to partner, getting to know most on a more personal level on the hopes that it would be of better help in dealing with laws and other affairs that affected her people.

Lila and Kru eventually get up.
"Let's go back to the shop." Kru said, "This place is no fun."
"Yeah," Lila sighs, "I'm sure Kayman's probably bored at this point, just standing around the store and staring at all the stuff inside."
They saunter out of the room, leaving Mose by himself as he just shrugs off their disappointment and continues to watch the dance.

The people began to dwindle down eventually as it drew later into the night, Mira placing herself in an empty seat with a slightly weary sigh. As far as she could tell, it had gone well and hopefully would raise the morale of all that had attended.

Mose observes her mental and physical exhaustion before deciding to call it a day himself and gets up to head back to the trade shop to help Lila and Kru close up for the night.

Once everyone had cleared out and the cleaning had been finished, Mira retired to her room. In the coming days, she'd have to ready herself for whatever trade or ally requests that came in, knowing she'd have to be thorough in discussion and careful as to what she agreed to.

Lila and Kru finished cleaning and closing up shop, teleporting away while Mose and Kayman prepared for yet another all night patrol.
This time, instead of just camping out on the roof, the two opt to take turns, Mose strolling around the city to see if there were any stores or places that were open to insomniacs while Kayman sat on the roof of the trade shop, drapped in his black cloak while boredly tossing a baseball-size fireball up and down in his black gloved hand.

There were a couple of taverns that remained open along with the main library that was kept open during all hours.

Mose already had his fill of foreign food for the time being, deciding to head into the library and browse around until his next shift.

There were numerous books shelved in a certain order, ranging from those aimed to delight children with to theoretical magic and histories of the land.

Mose focuses on the books describing the different magic and history of the land, reading each book along the shelves and understanding just how the world came to be what it is today. He makes scanned copies of the impotant pages to send to Cygaxia so the other council and Cygaxians can get a more clearer understanding of the nation.

There seem to be hundreds of books, some more mundane about the various affairs of the noble families to more interesting topics such as the familiars that they call Rakar.
