To sum it up nicely:
- A single-player campaign, that, according to the developers, is just as long as the original Metroid Prime
- 7 different characters, OMG
- All features on LAN muliplayer are available online, which includes 22 playable stages, voice chat in the lobby areas, and 6 different game modes
- Nice looking graphics, and some really cool CGI stuff
- The best handheld FPS control I've ever experienced
I'm REALLY excited about this game. It's changed so much since that demo that came packaged with the DS.

Eh, I'm not a big Metroid Fan. I won't get it. If I ever want to play it, I'll just download a demo (kinda like rent) it at Gamestop through the DS Download station.

Kyle, you can't download a demo from the station. Only a movie of it.
I hope you have the First Hunt demo, because if not, good luck "renting" it.
The Download Stations are looking pretty awesome. I might actually go to an EB games for once, just to see why the Japanese are so crazy for Brain Age.

2nd: I sure do. Got it right here next to me.
3rd: Same here. Although I've already read alot about it in Nintendo Power..

Yeah, you can get playable demos. Did you even read what the article said:
"DS owners will sample free games simply by visiting their local game retailers" "Nintendo will offer all DS owners free downloadable game demos and other downloadable content" " players can try out as many games as they want," "will beam wireless demo versions of games "
Hmm....you have a point. But if I bought it, it would only be for the Wifi...
EDIT: Oooh. I misunderstood what you said. I thought you meant there WERE no demos at all. I see...Sorry bout that. I didn't know you meant MP: H

It seems illogical not to put a demo of Hunters up, but that's Nintendo for you.

I like metroid, but I hate FPS's with a vengence, so I'm just going to mooch off friends for it.

Nam, why do you hate FPS games?

Mainly 'cause I suck at them, and also 'cause I can't see why everyone loves them. I remember making a rant in a comment 2 comics back from my current one.

I don't like em either. But I still enjoy Metroid.

You have just been playing too much Platformers. Which I can't see why people enjoy. Jumping on platforms and avoiding bottomless pits get old after about two games.

I guess you could say I don't like FPS' either. I'm still getting it, mainly because of the demo's good impression.
