My school is so cheap aswell. A few months ago, I was in wood work class, and this kid was swinging a wooden mallet, the kid faces me and swings it, the mallet head comes off and hits me in the head, I was bleeding. I had to go to get two stiches, Lucky I didn't sue the damn school, and I'm lucky I didn't get brain damage!

My school is full of ugly fat chicks that think they are sooooooooooooo hot but arnt, and then there are the sluts, and the druggies, and the "punks" and a verry verry small goth population.

I think that the new game looks very disappointing, graphics-wise. In fact, the whole presentation just looks crappy.
Simple 2-D characters that can move in 4 directions at max on the overworld. Ugly, dull, 3-D and 2-D objects to create the generic, flat looking enviroments that we've all seen in previous Pokemon games. And the battles... Christ, I thought that they'd learned by now. What do we get? Each Pokemon gets a single sprite. It's completely unanimated, it just stands still and wobbles around to attack. WTF?
The DS is ment to be able to handle 3-D games just as well as the N64 could. Why can't they make the Pokemon in 3-D? Or at least the overworld. And if they can't make them in 3-D, why not at least give the Pokemon more than 1 frame of animation?
Also, what bugs me more is the fact that we're still hearing the horrible, Game Boy-style screeches that are ment to be the Pokemon "crys". Every Pokemon has appeared on the show at least once, hasn't it? And when it appears on the show, don't they have some 30-year old creep say it's name over and over again? Why not use those instead of the horrible-sounding, low quality shitfiles? It really isn't that hard, it's all been recorded already!
As for the story, I don't really care as long as the game is good. Go out to be a Pokemon master, beat up other people along the way. Fun stuff. Oh, and involve the Diamond/Pearl legendaries and Team Rocket along the way, like in Ruby/Saphire.
The problem is, they've already decided to use the crappy presentation. I don't care if I can tell my Pokemon what to do using the mike, or some other novelty gimick like that, the graphics and sound are still shit, and the gameplay is still the same as it was on the Game Boy.

Cutter, you don't need to waste a breath on Pokemon. It just requires a two word statement:
Fuck that.

But Gen, I like the Pokemon games, and I know for certain that I'll be buying Pokemon Diamond/Pearl at some point. I'm just really disappointed that the presentation is so shoddy, and because of that(among other things), I won't be picking it up for months after it's been released.

What about Pokemon games make you like them? The repetitveness?

Well, it's a great RPG, I guess. I remember that I spent 160 hours on my old Ruby version. It gets harder and harder to Catch 'em All with every game they make...

Those games were easy. Sure, they got longer and longer, but it becomes helluva lot easier to become the 'Pokemon Master'. There are loads of other games that are better RPGs than Pokemon.

Biased? How the fuck am I biased? It's a plain fact that Pokemon is the most repetitive series known to man.
