If I were to pick a stage, I'd pick either Mt. Aleph or Venus Lighthouse. Pretty much any location from Golden Sun would be a nice addition.

Yeah, Megaman, Sonic, and more FE characters would be great. Advance Wars COs are a stupid idea.
But, I'm just wondering, who's paying who? Sure, Nintendo could pay Sega or Capcom for permission because they want more people to buy the game, knowing their favorite characters are included. But, then again, couldn't Sega or Capcom WANT their characters in the game, cause it would make them more popular. And I'm sure they get a bit of the profit. Maybe...

But we don't even know if Sonic or Megaman are even going to be in it.

Advance wars was a pretty popular game, and they got stuff from the game Ice climber, and Game and Watch, which I can confidently say that NO ONE even heard of until Smash Melee came out. And if you care about the fact that they have no place in a fighting game, so does Fox(Top tier), Falcon, Dr.Mario, Zelda, and Falco(High Tier). All these characters were never playable characters, and if they were, they never did anything that they can do in Smash. In fact the helpless princesses are stronger than the people who save them, or the people that kidnap them. So, if they can just think up a totally original move list for these guys, why not CO's for advance wars? Not to mention they have 2 b moves already made for them that just has to be adapted to melee fighting.

I still want Golden Sun characters. Isaac's special attack would be Ragnarok. That would be kickass.

Nobody's godamn listening to you, Mage!
I guess Andy and Max would work, but still, they wouldn't really fit in...

You wanna be a smartass, Nam? Just shut up...
In the first SSB, everyone was practically the same height, and everyone was the same color and design style, so everyone pretty much fit in because nobody was bigger or thicker or more realistic than everyone else

Enter button, Kyle?
Yeah, the characters are a lot more...unique, now. In Melee, the characters were all unique in their own ways (except for the damn clones). For Brawl, characters will be all over the place. Snake versus 3-foot high Mario. That'll be interesting.
And Nam, AW characters aren't getting in the game. Probably some trophies, but not playable characters. They just aren't fit to fight.

I wonder what kind of trophies there will be. Will trophies affect your game in any way as well? (ie. obtaining the starman trophie unlocks the item starman.)

In the first SSB, everyone was practically the same height, and everyone was the same color and design style, so everyone pretty much fit in because nobody was bigger or thicker or more realistic than everyone else Oh please, proportions have been balanced when they really shouldn't have, like pikachu being just as big as half a mario even though he's supposed to be the size of a rat, and Mewtwo being the same size proportionally even though he is supposed to be 7 feet tall. Proportions are not a problem, and you're just spouting nonsense. Enter button, Kyle? Yeah, the characters are a lot more...unique, now. I really just put the possibility out there, you guys are just denying it with stupid 'evidence' and all I'm saying that the said evidence has been disproved from the transition from smash 1 to melee. All I've ever said was, why not? and you guys kept saying stupid things that was easy to disprove. Sure, Advance Wars CO's are unlikely, but its possible, and I'm not gonna ball my eyes out or just boycott Brawl 'cause they aren't there, its just you guys have horrible arguements.

Good point, Nam. Man...I don't wanna feel like those other immature 11-12 year old brats. Well, now I'm probably gonna punish myself over a small thing like that, like I did when I got an 80 on that test. Man...
And nobody said they'll have trophies. Maybe they won't. Maybe they'll have something besides trophies. I hope they affect the game is SOME way though. There's no point to get EVERY SINGLE one if there isn't a prize. Getting 30 gets you a character, or something like that?

I really just put the possibility out there... Well, I have to admit, if Pit is getting in Brawl, then Advance Wars characters have a shot at it, too. Cross your fingers, Nam. As for Trophies...Well, they MIGHT be in Brawl. They did serve their purpose well in Melee, something to collect and such, but they didn't really have a point. Like Kyle said, you might get more incentive to collect as many as you can in Brawl, like getting unlockable characters. I'm kinda hoping that the screenshot-taking mode returns, so that you can share pictures you've taken with others online. Maybe even take pictures online?

I never liked trophy collecting. That was the most annoying part of smash, and all it is is bragging rights, and I'd rather have bragging rights 'cause I placed xth out of y people in a tournament than "I GOT ALL 180 TROPHY LOLZ!"

They were nice to look at, at least. When you could view all of them at once spread out on that table, it felt somewhat rewarding.
And since when were trophies used for bragging rights?
