I guess that make Battlefield 2 some sort of twisted god. There are 32 players in some servers.

Online, I need.
8 player online? Not necessary. Any online, and the classic multiplayer will do.

Classic multiplayer all the way. Online would be rather nice though.

Apparently, it seems the characters have some sort of special attack (caused by a combo move? Obtaining the SSB symbol like Mario did?) like Mario with his giant fire blast, Link with his TriForce sword slash combo, and Kirby when he cooked Mario in a pan.
And...what's with the labrodor Nintendog? It's probably some sort of item like the Pokemon.

Yeah, throw the DS item, and when it hits the ground, out comes a little Nintendog who paws at the screen and makes it hard to see what the fuck is going on! Maybe you have to "pet" him/her using the controller to make him/her go away...?
The combo attacks...Eh, I don't mind them, but I'm not ultra-excited about them, either. I remember a while back on Nsider I posted about each character having their own "ultimate" forms.
Mario = Fire Mario Link = Fierce Diety Link Kirby = Kirby with Star rod or something... Ganondorf = Ganon Pikachu = Riachu Jigglypuff = Wigglytuff Pichu = Pikachu on steroids Mewtwo = Some sort of cyborgish ultra-powerful Mewtwo Bowser = Giga Bowser Zelda = Super Zelda?
You get the idea. The thing is, you could start a match where each character starts in their "ultimate" form. There would be a cool, flashy animation for each character. The "ultimate" form characters would be faster, more powerful, and just more fun to play as. 4 people in ultimate form would be crazy fun.
Still, these super attacks seem to be triggered by the SSB emblem-sphere thingie, like you said. I'll bet you $5 that Wario's is a mushroom cloud fart.

Actually, didn't you notice with the dog, people were getting hurt? Not only does it blind you, it hurts you. I doubt it'll hurt the person who threw the item, though.
I hope the ultra move things aren't too easy to use (SSB logos don't appear often) Otherwise, everybody's gonna use them every second, which is cheap, cause not much action/fighting would be going on, since it seems, for the mot part, these moves are cinematics.
I could think of a lot of good ideas on how to get the SSB logo to appear, but there's one problem. The ultimate attack isn't gained personally by an amount of kills or something like that (which is what I was thinking.) It's an item. Soo...how does it appear? Randomly like the other items? So, when you set items on the item swtich, couldn't you just make it more common? That's retarded! They SHOULD make you have to EARN the attack.
Oh, and those ultimate forms are retarded ideas.

I didn't notice that. I think that the logo won't appear normally, but theres no way to confirm the conditions right now. Also, who knows how you pull them off? It could be just holding down a button, or a crazy-crack button combo. I hope it's neither, maybe you press a bunch of different buttons, and that "creates" the attack. Like, if you press A + up a bunch of times, the attack hits airborn enemies. You're mean.

Probably the thing is just an item that you can turn on or off in the item switch, nothing special.
And for the 4 player multiplayer online thing, its a fricken fighting game that has to render 3d models, pretty hard thing to do. Actually not really, but they are probably trying to find a way so many people can connect to the server with absolutely no lag, which can make or break you in a fighting game.

Not to mention its four at once, probably choosing between having it all on the one screen or having each player get their own seperate view, either way complaining about Nintendo having trouble with making SSBB online is retarded, this is a much different style of game than Battlefield or Dead or Alive, theres going to be difficulties which is why its not a launch title, they want to get it working.
On a side note, wonder what Snakes special moves will be,in his previous fighting game debut he only had C4.

Snake will probably just have close-range attacks. Maybe his "B" is attack is to use a gun, who knows? I have doubts that he'll use his guns, but at the same time, every character so far has had their ranged attacks, so Snake needs a few, as well.

If Dead or Alive 4 can make a Spartan fight without guns, then SSBB can make Snake fight without guns. Besides, in the MGS games, Snake could fight with CQC, and his knife.

They didn`t give the Spartan her gun because Dead or Alive dosen`t have 'special' moves,SSBB is different, characters can use weapons all they want, hopefully the Nikita will return,or at least the stinger for some powerful ranged moves, suprising though, why Snake, considering the virtual console will play Sega games, surely Sonic would have made a better guest character.

Shows how much you know. Dead or Alive 4 has special moves, for example, the Spartan can use a throw technique where she beats the crap out of the enemy, and sticks a Plasma grenade to the enemy. Ryu has a throw technique where he constantly teleport attacks the enemy, and grabs them in midair. He then spirals down to the ground, and slams the enemy head first into the ground. The drunk guy has loads of special throw techniques.
