Here, I am basically going to post stories of my characters before the 1000 Years of Chaos story. I will post here over a period of probably a week, detailing the stories of each character. First off is Inmortal, a villian during 23XX.
Inmortal: Consuming Hunger
Inmortal, fallen and in pain from a battle with Frightman, a being more vile than he, spent months trying to rebuild himself. During this time, the world around him began to take a dramatic change as battles with the Deus and his armies against Earth forces began to escalate. In a short time, the Deus was beheaded by the clone of Negabyte, who was busy training with Dream in the Light Temple. With the Deus' death, Inmortal felt like he was losing his mind. Inmortal's hunger began to increase greatly, and started to crave the flesh of humans. Inmortal would go on a killing spree around the time war broke out between Neo Arcadia and the Demon City.
Inmortal chose no side, his hunger forced him to kill without prejudice. He would kill one of Leviathan's drones, and devour it, he would kill one of the Necrotyr's men, and devour it. Eventually, it seemed like he was killing more than either side could. That was until Phantom found him, and fought the vile beast. Inmortal and Phantom were locked in combat until the Necrotyr was killed, and Daemons began to pour throughout the area. Phantom fled, seeking to hide out from the invasion of Daemons. Inmortal stayed back, and began to devour any Daemons that he came in contact with. It was here that he met one of his most trusted allies, the brother of Nightmare, Raaz, a terrible Daemon warrior.
Raaz and Inmortal fought for hours, those hours eventually led to days, and these days led to months. They were locked in a never-ending battle, but that was when Jen, daughter of Scythe sought to kill Inmortal, who in his blind devouring, killed her husband, the flame daemon, Aestus. Raaz struck down, and killed Jen before she could kill Inmortal, this was the beginning of their alliance.
Inmortal and Raaz would then journey through the lands, killing anyone in their way. Inmortal sought to fill his stomach, and Raaz sought to fill his bloodlust. Their journey would lead them to the Land of Decay, where they had their bloodiest massacre to date.

Inmortal: Starving Massacre
Inmortal and Raaz attacked the people of the Lands of Decay, who were already injured from the loss of their Elemental. Inmortal wiped out several villages, killing and eating all who resided in them, while Raaz scoped out the coast. Raaz would discover the lost Stardroid nation, Star Isle.
Star Isle was believed to be wiped out, when DeiMackina was defeated here by a combination of forces of lead by Megaman X and Jen. Raaz searched the island while Inmortal was busy, and discovered that a entire civilization still resides there, lead by a being who called himself the Elemental of Chivalry. Raaz returned to Inmortal with the news.
Inmortal and Raaz gathered an army of peasants from the Land of Decay. Inmortal used the black goo which resides in his body, to transform their DNA, and turn them into a ferocious army of a race that the world has never seen before. Inmortal called this new race the Incubo. Inmortal's forces attacked Star Isle.
The massacre on Star Isle was never made known to the rest of the world, seeing how no one knows of the island, and it always remained hidden in a thick mist. The Incubo attacked the island, using tactics that seemed unnatural of peasants. The Elemental of Chivalry fought against Inmortal and Raaz valiantly. The Elemental called to his aide the Templars of Valor, an ancient order of knights that used to obey Sunstar before learning to follow the Elemental of Chivalry. The Templars managed to seperate Raaz and Inmortal, and made the battle turn in their favor. Raaz escaped, suffering injuries to his arms and midsection, taking with him the entire army of Incubo. Inmortal, however, stayed behind to finght the Elemental.
The Elemental of Chivalry found and fought Inmortal, requesting that his Templars stand down. The Elemental used the magnums of Scythe, who was believed to be the first Elemental of Chivalry, on Inmortal. These blessed bullets were strengthened with the Elemental's own abilities, and he was able to force Inmortal to retreat. However, the Elemental of Chivalry was killed by Inmortal's black goo, it ate through his armor and chest. The powers of the Elemental of Chivalry went to his son, Altus, who's ancestors are Scythe, the legendary warrior who killed Sunstar once and for all, and Gigabyte, who defeated the daemon Nightmare.
Inmortal and Raaz sought refuge in the Lands of Decay, where the two began to topple, and raze their ways of life and government. Inmortal began to turn the populace into Incubo, while Raaz began assassinating all politicians. Inmortal found himself as leader of the nation, and Raaz his second-in-command. The earth rotted, the water was stagnant, all life was mutated or dead. Inmortal named his regime the Nex, and has begun reinforcing his army of Incubo with alien technology from outer space, the wreckages of thousands of DeiMackina warships, left to spin around Earth for the rest of eternity.

Frightman: Fall of a God
Frightman had gained the power he longed for. He was the strongest being in the universe, and was seconds away from molding the universe in his own image. It was then that Megaman X and Jen launched their attack. The battle ensued on Star Isle.
Thousands of heroes fought Frightman, or "DeiMackina", and thousands were slain. The remaining forces of the side of good were Jen, X, the Advent, and Inmortal. Inmortal had joined the forces of good out of revenge, for he was humiliated by Frightman in a previous battle. Jen struck down Frightman with a mighty blow, and drained the monster of all his power.
Frightman disappeared, and the heroes returned home to rest, knowing in their hearts that the greatest evil had been vanquished. They would return to a war between Neo Arcadia and the Demon City.
Frightman: From the Ashes
Frightman awoke underwater off the coast of the Land of Decay. An unknown amount of years has passed since the time of his believed death. Frightman was taken prisoner by Incubo Warpriests, who were meditating on the shores upon finding him. Frightman was locked up in a dungeon in the fortress city "Metal Nexus", where Incubo are trained for combat. Frightman woulds spend several months here before Inmortal discovered who he really was.
Inmortal left for Metal Nexus on Christmas Eve, and discovered that Frightman had escaped the following day, on Christmas. This was when he learned of a slave revolt in the Metal civilization and decided to pay no heed toward Frightman, thinking that he was powerless and weak. Inmortal would soon learn to regret not hunting him down.

Frightman: Return to Slaughter
Frightman began to scour the entire world, slaying anything that stood in his way, trying to absorb as much power as he could. He reverted back to his powers over fear, scaring peasants and warriors into a small area, and slaughtering them all. This process was slow and painfully, mainly for the victims.
Frightman eventually ventured to the Land of Fear, deciding to claim the land for himself.
"No one is more frightening than I, the all powerful Frightman!" he proclaimed upon reaching the shores of the Land of Fear.
Frightman: King of Fright
Frightman had began his massacre of the Daemons in the Lands of Fear, believing that the people would only see him as a worthy monster if he was the only one left. With time, he encountered Synn, son of the daemon Nightmare. Synn had just acquired the powers of the Elemental of Fear, but no one ever knew of this. Frightman's power of Fear overwhelmed Synn, and he slew him.
Frightman had a dark tower built in the center of the land of Fear, the heads of the people he killed are posted on pikes on the tower's surrounding walls. Synn's head was placed on a pike on the top of Frightman's throne. Little did Frightman know that by killing Synn, he had acquired the powers of the Elemental of Fear.
Frightman learned to use fear to manipulate the Daemons, and now has a vast army of the fiendish beasts. His forces have begun battle with the Incubo army of Inmortal.
Many have learned to fear and obey Frightman, they learn this whenever they are called to his throne room, and see Synn's head on the pike. Synn's face is so contorted with fear, it is impossible to figure what Frightman did to him to evoke such a look of terror.

Scythe: Training the Youth
Scythe had been promoted to the head of the Paranormal Maverick Hunters, and his team had seperated after killing Sunstar once and for all. Scythe had begun to train children who were particularly strong spiritually, his four brightest students became the Four Horseman Unit.
Scythe spent the next fifty years training these warriors. They trained in the temple of light, where the exposure to light energy made them age at a shockingly slow rate. Around 22XX, Scythe left the temple to go on first mission since being promoted to head of the Paranormal Maverick Hunters.
Scythe: Fatal Love
Scythe had a solo mission, where he had to infiltrate a Russian base and steal parts of the Hephaestus, the ensure that the beast would never resurface again. During this mission, Scythe encountered a beautiful British mercenary who was hired by the Russians. She was deadly in hand to hand combat, and fought Scythe in a duel to the death.
Scythe pinned her to the ground, and placed his magnum to her temple, but couldn't kill her. He had fallen in love. The mercenary kicked Scythe away, and called him foolish. She shot him in the stomach and left him to bleed to death in the snow outside the Russian base.
Scythe: Love's Turnabout
Scythe sat in the snow for three straight days, a blizzard covered his body. His daemon origins kept him from bleeding to death as quickly as a human would, but the bullet lodged in his stomach released a poison that paralyzed him. Scythe believed he was going to die, but he felt a jab in his right arm, and fell asleep.
Scythe awoke in a dank, heavily damaged apartment. He looked over, and saw the mercenary who shot him. She was holding an opened medkit, and she was bandaging his stomach.
Scythe asked her why, and the mercenary told him that she had fallen in love with him, before they even fought. Scythe saved her as a little girl a long time ago, and she went to go train in the temple of light around the same time Scythe did. She fell in love with Scythe, and it broke her heart to shoot him.
Scythe realized who this woman was; it was Gigabyte's daughter. Gigabyte had a daughter a hundred years ago, the mother was a temple priestess in a British temple of light. She died giving brith to Gigabyte's daughter. Gigabyte named his daughter Terra, after her mother.
Nine months and a wedding later, Terra gave birth to a little girl, making Scythe a proud father. The two named her Jennifer.

Scythe: The Advent of Darkness
When Jennifer turned five, reports of a daemon cult began to surface. Scythe was sent on a mission to investigate these claims, heading for the Vatican City.
Upon his arrival, Scythe was attacked by the eight members of the Advent of Darkness. Scythe was able to fend them off, but they got what they were searching for, the Tome of Reincarnation, an ancient text that speaks of how Christ came back from the dead, and how one can bring back a spiritual being back from the dead. Scythe knew what they were trying to do, they were trying to bring back his father, Nightmare, from the dead.
The Advent seperated the book into eight pieces, and fled across the world. Scythe would spend years searching for the daemons, and imprisoning them in their realm.
Scythe: Unspeakable Tragedy
Vinco Everto, the leader of the Advent had gathered all pieces of the tome to him, and neady a sacrifice to bring back Nightmare. He kidnapped Jeniffer and Terra. Scythe was engulfed with rage, and he hunted down Vinco.
Scythe found Vinco in an old church in England, the foul daemon was ready to sacrifice Jen and Terra. The two began to fight to the death. The battle was short, but seemed like it lasted forever to its combatants. Vinco released a blast of dark energy to kill Scythe, but Terra jumped in the way and sacrificed herself for Scythe.
Terra died in Scythe's arms.
Scythe: Untapped Power
Scythe was filled with emotions he never experienced before. A deep-seated hatred; a loathing. It was the first time he ever wanted to kill. Scythe's pistols formed into a curved, white scythe in a blink of an eye. Scythe had reached his ultimate potential, and released the power trapped in his soul.
Scythe sliced Vinco into ribbons, leaving barely anything behind, but he survived. Vinco escaped into the Daemon Realm to recover.
Scythe was left alone to care for his daughter. He would do so, and would regret letting his wife die for the rest of his life.

Scythe: Rebellion
Thirteen years later, Scythe called for the Paranormal branch of the Maverick Hunter Orginization to rebel against the corrupt government. Around this time, Epsilon's rebellion also took place.
Scythe and the Four Horsemen tried to contact the Lights to tell them of their rebellion, and to their surprise, they agreed to help.
Scythe's rebellion had two goals: To stop the corrupt government from destroying the world in an attempt to gain more power, and second, to stop and kill the Advent of Darkness once and for all.
Scythe: Father
Scythe's rebellion failed in stopping the Advent of Darkness. They achieved their goal of reviving Ragnarock and Nightmare, who were killed by a combination force of Gigabyte and X centuries previously.
Nightmare slew Vinco Everto upon his ressurection, and assumed control of the Advent of Darkness, Ragnarock was his second-in-command. The duo managed to escape into the Human Realm, taking with them the Advent of Darkness.
A dark cloud appeared over the horizon for all that was good and just. Nightmare had returned to fulfill his destiny of turning the Earth into a land of ash and dust.

Model D: Spiked Fury
Diablo's death was mysterious enough to begin with, and the creation of Inmortal from him seemed to be linked with one another. Either way, Model D was discovered some time after Inmortal came in contact with Ragnarock. This was when Inmortal lost his humanity, and started to slowly turn into a monster. Model D has been kept under the radar of many, and has passed around the world like currency. Its masters have ranged from innocent children, to savage daemons.
Model D is golden with grey protrusions. It is very unstable, and has had many masters. Model D seems to react with its user's emotional state. Those who sought power from Model D were consumed by their own greed. Those who were depressed felt eternal pain when combined with Model D. Those who felt extreme rage became ferocious monsters. So far, their have been several forms of Model D seen.
Model D- Neutral
Neutral state of Model D. The user gain golden armor, and grey spikes on their back and arms. A trident spike is on their forehead. User gains immense strength and speed, and the ability to use chaos energy. Mastery of Model D's Neutral state allows for transformation to other forms of Model D.
Model D- Feral
Feral state of Model D. The user becomes beast like, but still has the same golden, spiked armor. The mask of Model D gains fangs, and the user grows a spiked tail. Senses are heightened in this state. Control of Feral is limited if anger is the direct cause of transformation. One of the most destructive forms.
Model D- Sorrow
Sorrow state of Model D. The armor of Model D becomes grey, and the spikes turn black. User's eyes turn milky white, and the mask has cracks under the eyes. Model D uses chaos energy in pyschic blasts, metally destroying anything that comes in contact with it. If the user moves in the Sorrow state, he or she will feel immense pain. Control of Sorrow is limited if sadness/depression is the direct cause of transformation. The most painful form.
Model D- Vendetta
Vendetta form of Model D. The armor of Model D becomes blood red and black. The spikes are composed of pure energy, save for the trident on the helmet. This form can only be achieved through extreme hatred, and has no control. This form feeds off of the user's hatred for power. The known most destructive form.
Model D- Greed
Greed form of Model D. The armor becomes green, and loses its spikes. This form is the weakest of all the forms, and is only achieved when the user wears Model D for selfish purposes.
Model D- Heart
Heart form of Model D. Information on this form is unknown.
Model D- Soul
Soul form of Model D. Information on this form is unknown.
Model D- Just
Just form of Model D. Information on this form is unknown.
Model D- Wicked
Wicked form of Model D. Information on this form is unknown.
Model D- Daemon
Daemon form of Model D. Information on this form is unknown.
Model D- Angel
Angel form of Model D. Information on this form is unknown.
Model D- Perfect
Perfect form of Model D. Information on this form is unknown.
It is believed that Model D also has Elemental forms, but this belief is usually cast aside. There are also beliefs of more forms of Model D, but its wielder is usually dead within days after getting it.
Model D is currently locked away on Star Isle. Its guardians are the Devil's Vanguard. Cole and his family make up the Devil's Vanguard.
It is said that when someone uses Model D for the first time, they are spoken to by an elderly man. It is believed to be Diablo's old soul. It says,
"Be warned, if you seek power; you have found it. If you seek death; you have found it."
