I'm thinking of throwing in a couple of new races, a few factions and a few cities into the RP.
Tanuki
Taken from Japanese Folklore, Tanukis are raccoon dogs with the ability to morph into anything they desire. Many stereotype that the only way a tanuki can transform is with the use of a leaf. Though it may be true to juveniles and late bloomers, many of the tanukis have been able to achieve full transformation entirely on their own spiritual powers.
Tanukis are often considered misfits by other races, mainly because they tend to play tricks either out of boredom or when they have to survive through means, such as fooling buyers with paper money transformed from leaves, other than violence. They are also considered slobs, their attention spans usually low, as well as having an obsession for parties whenever they see the need to throw one.
Despite this, tanukis can be very helpful when they feel their aide is needed, using their shapeshifting powers to help others in battle or other generous needs.
Leaflet Village
Located in the northern region of Greenland, Leaflet is a magical forest said to have been created through the powers of an all mighty Tanuki whose name and appearance hasn't been spoken, even to the current Chief of Leaflet. No one knows the age, power...not even the gender of this spiritually powerful tanuki. Should this powerful tanuki die, the entire forest would revert back to its frozen foundation.
Kitsune
Kitsunes are spiritual foxes who, like the tanukis, also share in the ability to morph into whatever they want, as well as being declared misfits by other races.
Unlike the tanukis, however, their maliciousness is far more cynical, having a habit of controlling other creatures by jumping into their bodies and possesssing their consciousness. Their shapeshifting powers also have a minor disadvantage in that the slightest surprise is enough to scare them back to their true forms.
Many ways of telling a kitsune's intelligence and age is by looking at the number of tails it has. One tail implicates that they're young and inexperienced, while nine tails implicates their status as highly intellectual and skillful in their powers, being able to see and understand everything around them, even predict the future if possible. Nine tailed kitsunes also have a change in fur when they reach 100, either becoming gold or white.
Foxfire Village
Located on the southern region of Greenland, Foxfire is a dark, mystical forest where streets are lit with ghost-like fire. Like Leaflet, the entire Foxfire village was also created through the mystical powers of a kitsune whose name, appearance, and gender is yet to be revealed. And, sharing in Leaflet's disadvantage, if the unnamed kitsune died, the entire forest would lose its appearance and revert back to a frozen wasteland.
The Forgotten War
Many of the kitsunes and tanukis dislike one another because of their minor differences. The kitsunes call the tanukis fat and lazy, while the tanukis call the kitsunes selfish and greedy. The two resorted to shapeshifting battles, in which they transform their appearances to combat their opposing race.
However, in the midst of their scuffle, their original homeland on the neighboring borders between Darkholms and Moathan (Which soon became the City of Outcasts), was ambushed by the HE clones. Startled, the races turned into boats and escaped to Greenland for safety. Once out of danger, the two split the large Island in half, the tanukis occupying the northern region while the kitsunes took the south. They continue to despise each other to this day, but because of the losses suffered by the invasion, they have yet to pick up their scuffle from where they last left off.
The City of Outcast
Located between Moathan and Darkholms, once lustious forest became the damnation for tanukis and kitsunes who mix in their differences with their similarities, displeasing both their Chiefs and their respected village.
In Outcast, the personalities are neurtral between being helpful to being downright sinister. This is most likely caused by the melding of the two sides that lead to their banishment.
FireLeaf Squadron
While reliability on outsiders is mixed and unpredictable, there is one group that will help at the spur of the moment. The FireLeaf Squadron consists of five soldiers, three tanukis and two kitsunes, who use their spiritual powers to gather goods, aide other factions, and spy on enemies for many purposes. They make good use of their shapeshifting powers to hide their appearances and gather as much as they can on their enemies before deciding their course of action.
