I think is time we try and revive the major portion of this board, the RP.
Since Zaku has been a no show lately, and White-Jet apparently hasn't been around either, I am going to start a new story line so that in the event either one returns, we can pick up where we left off with them.
This new story takes some aspects from my Bane of Heroes comic, which is still currently in the works.
Premise to the new story:
With the disappearance of the Elemental of Decay, Inmortal, a new darkness has been swelling deep with the lands of Ferm. A rising army of undead creatures has made its presence known, and is being led by their dark master, Thyrr. These monsters call themselves the Cursed, for they carry the hexed marking of Thyrr, who offered them new life after death.
A pact of holy warriors prepare themselves for battle with the Cursed on an island off the shores of Ferm. On this island is the Temple of Xylbian, whose halls is filled with holy knights, monks, and priests who arm themselves to fight off the foul undead. The leader of these holy warriors is the priestess, Dianna.
Your character can align itself with the Cursed, in doing so he/she will become undead, allowing them to become resistant to electrical attacks (No heart means it can't be stopped), ice attacks (Frost bite won't do much to already dead flesh), and dark attacks, because they themselves are natural dark energy wielders. Dark energy is very offensive, and can take any shape or form. Undead characters cannot drown, so water attacks do nothing to them. Undead, however, are weak against fire and light based attacks.
If you align with the Temple of Xylbian, your character will become more defensive, and will gain access to light energy. With light energy, your character can heal, create a defensive shield, levitate, remove diseases/curses, and teleport. However, being a wielder of light makes your character weak against dark attacks.
If the Cursed lose, all character who became undead will revert back to their living selves once more.
Decide which side you will want to join. Will you join the undead Cursed and plague the world with your plight? Or will you join the holy Temple Knights and defend these lands from destruction?

New Skeleton to go with the new story.
Name: Age: Gender: Race: Rank: Eye color: Hair Color: Faction(s): Birthday: Lives: Height: Weight: Likes: Dislikes:
Appearance:
History:
Personality:
Abilities:
Weapons:
Personal Quote:
*~Relationships~* Enemies: Dislikes: Likes: Friends: Best Friends: Crushes: Boyfriend/Girlfriend: Family:
You will notice some subtle changes to the old skeleton, these changes are the bolded words of course. Rank, of course, applies to the rank your character holds in the factioned army. Your character(s) will start out as a private. As time goes on, and if I decide to, your character will be promoted. The highest your character will be able to rise to is Brigadier General.
Faction applies to either the Cursed or the Temple Knights. If you align with the Cursed, you are an evil character, if you align with the Temple Knights, you are a good character. There are other factions, but they are not as important. For example, the Star Isle Templar, Keepers of Balance, and DeiMackinia are factions that your character can interact with. The other factions themselves side with the larger factions of the Cursed and Temple Knights.
Abilities applies to what your character can do. Does he throw fireballs, mimic an enemies powers; I don't care. Just don't god mod it.
Weapons applies to your character's weapons. Again, don't make the "Soul-Thrasher Absorber of All Magic Blade", something reasonable.

In all honesty I've been thinking of using a mercenary group I created for City of Villains on the RP. So this may become helpful.

Oh, I guess I'll join in, though I think I'm outgrowing RPing. I do request to keep things reasonable. As much of a fan as I am of grunting and huge fireballs, I am starting to want to see strategy in fights nowadays. Fights aren't necessarily won by whoever has the biggest power level, and I see to it that all my characters have exploitable weaknesses and fight with strategy to overcome them. Thats just a personal preference of mine.

Most of my characters are like that. Except for titan. Titan was made to have no real flaws.

I try to keep flaws in characters. Usually if no one realizes them, I throw in a character to explain everything. Or I make it as obvious as possible.
But things will be reasonable. I am creating new characters to be used in this that will have reasonable powers.

I'll make an amendment to all this as to what happened to all the other nations after this war. As we all know places like Asia ans star isle where pretty much destroyed. And Gens war will probably not the only one that will be going on.

Alright time to give diplomatic updates. The immediate threat to the planet has passed and I'll leave it up to gen to decide what happened with the model HE invasion. Titan is still up in space. His bulk reaching the size of a city. He remains content to sit in orbit and manipulate the events on earth for unknown reasons. The planet is indeed infested with titan spawn. Cloaked figures that travel the earth causing chaos wherever they travel. Khremi remained unscathed during all the trouble due the fact that most of it's lands are desert and uninhabitable. It's undead army has become a world power and it now rivals the Metal legions. The empire was hurt rather badly. Many farms and surrounding countryside was destroyed. People fled to the major cities and castles for protection. So most of the land has become wild and deserted. The lands of chaos have not changed at all. Did anyone expect them to? Lustria itself barely changed but several major cities where destroyed. But their power mainly stayed the same. Loren tiya was annihilated. The model HE that landed massacred most of the populace and destroyed a good bit of land. After the war The Lands of Chaos invaded and took over all of mainland china. The nation desperately wages war with chaos only keeping the Philippines and Japan under it's control. The main battle ground is the isle of kyushu where chaos has invaded and set up a beach head. This is your second opportunity for war. Amazoni did not change as most HE where killed by the jungle beasts. Gaea's Armageddon soldiers only recently finished mopping up the HE in the outback. their forces are on high alert. Ferm is still infested with HE though no one really seems to care. The Legions of Metal took a crippleing blow. London was annihilated. And the capital was transferred to Storm Garrison. The Legion looses more control of it's Titans task force every day. They move with more autonomy then the legions intended. It is only a matter of time until they break away entirely. Vi'lal has shut it self off from the world. All ports are closed and no one can leave or enter the nation. The tower of aquia shimmers with a strange light on most days. Utopia is in an arms buildup. The priests have urged the reploids the deal with the HE to the north. Due to political pressure the army has been forced to preprare for war with both Ferm and the Titans. The TITANS in the aftermath have invaded the east coast of the former USA with great affect. They control plenty of land and are in the process of building up a space program for unknown reasons. They are considered to be the current military power of the world.

Alright, here is the low down with HE and some other stuff.
Hephaestus saw the invasion of his clones as a massive success. However, he has lost control over the clones due to an assault on his main base of operations by the Cursed. All HE have gone haywire, and currently hold no allegiance to no one. They roam Earth with the intent of wiping out all sentient life. Simply calling themselves the Ghosts of War, these rogue machines have created a underground hive below the ruins of London. This hive pumps raw materials from a stream of molten rock miles below the Earth to create new machines. There is no known leader, but it is believed that the Ghosts have a master-mind HE Clone deep within the hive.
More and more Ghosts pour out of the hive everyday, but the Star Isle Templar have created an outpost near London. This outpost is one of few defenses agaisnt the Ghost army, but is gaining support from the Temple Knights and Monks of Balance. Currently, the Ghosts only seem to be fortifying their defenses, no immediate danger is apparent. However, there are many wandering bands of Ghosts who pose a threat to travelers.
Star Isle is one of the only places not yet tainted by evil. However, several of its main cities have been decimated by Hephaestus himself. Star Isle has begun constructing its own dooms day weapon to combat the continuing threat of enemies on all sides. It is unknown what it is, but it is known that the weapon comes from Sunstar's cache of weapon schematics.

Even forgetting the RP section, not much of a "revival" happened in your brief absence. I mean, that isn't to say we haven't been posting in the same 2-3 threads, but nothing new is really going on.
We were doing pretty good, talking in the Brawl thread, the ZaRWoC quotes thread, and my rants thread, but then things got eeriely quiet for about 2-3 days, and then you came.
That's pretty much a summary of what happened.

Kay...
Anywho, I have made up some new areas that Zaku can put up if he comes back:
Everfrost Village, a village tucked away in the middle of nowhere, cursed with a never-ending blizzard. Located in the Empire of Ice.
The Black Keep, the fortress of the formidable Cursed army. The dark lord of the Cursed, Thyrr, resides here. Located in Ferm
Draconis, the ruins of a Draken city that has become the center of trade between Draken tribes and other races. Located in Khemri.
Blood-Hide Village, the village of the Draken clan, the Blood-Hides. The chieftain of the unified Draken tribes, Aest Blood-Hide resides here. Located in Khemri.
Grim-Wing Village, the village of the Draken clan, the Grim-Wings. The dire enemies of the Blood-Hides. The chieftain of the Grim-Wings, Soot-Eye, resides here. Located in Khemri.
The Eternal Woods, a forest of magic and wonder that hides many savage Elves. Located in Amazoni.
Elstrom, the city of the Elves that houses the greatest magic schools outside of Halanos. The leader of the Elven race resides here, Hiro Akechi. Located in Lustria.
Lux, the grand fortress city that holds the Temple of Xylbian behind its walls. The leader of the Knights, Dianna, resides here. Located off the coast of Ferm.
RPers will be able to decide who to side with when it comes to other races, and it will affect the relations with the two larger factions. Allying with the Blood-Hides and the Elves of Elstrom will be good when it comes to relations with the Temple of Xylbian. If an RPer is darker, allying with the Savage Elves and the Grim-Wings will help in tightening the relations with the Cursed.
