Well, if it's something like good advice then it's best to listen, but if it's people putting you down, then it's not worth listening to. A waste of air is all it is. Who cares what they think? What matters is how you feel about yourself. For me, I always come first. My family is next to my needs and then my friends. The way I see, if I'm not happy, then I'm of no help to friends or family and just wind up dragging them down with me.

I've not had a very happy childhood. It's just one of the lessons I learned the hard way, but now I know and can pass on that lesson to others so they won't have to learn the hard way. All in all, it's stuff like that that's made me the kind and caring person I am today ^-^
