I got presents from "Santa Claus" even though I'm 18.
Of course, there's something wrong with each of them, I still consider myself lucky for even getting them in the first place.

Heh, I think this is the first year I haven't gotten presents from 'Santa'. It was dependent on my cousins still believing in him, but hey, there's no harm in it X3

My step brother still believes, so that's likely what helped.
I made cards for everyone. I was trying to think of material gifts, but my counseler said the cards would be good for my social problems.

Personally, I prefer things that are made by the one giving it to me rather than something store bought. It just feels like more time and care went into it that way.

I was thinking about making a mini comic book for my sister about a lump of coal's happy little adventures.
I never actually made it, but the lump of coal at least showed up on her card.

She said the coal was a mean gesture, but she dissaproves of everyone.
She's the "strict-ettiqete-serious-business" type of person, you know?

Ah, yeah... One has to be able to sit back and relax and just enjoy life sometimes though.

I always try to enjoy life.
I find the good in everything. I'm an optimist out to fight against the pessimists.

It's a good way to be. Better to keep your chin up through everything than to let it weigh you down.

Exactly! Most of my presents were games and stuff with wierd little malfunctions/quirks, but I didn't let that get me down. (Although I would like to be able to use my new MP3 player some time. Still gotta figure out what's wrong with it.)

I got mostly aromatherapy stuff and chocolates, which I don't mind in the slightest. I love making my baths smell nice. Best gift of the bunch was that extremely soft blanket with the wolves on it. Seriously, it's like satin. Really warm to snuggle up in too X3

Mmmyes. I do enjoy me some snuggly blankets.
Too bad I could never say that to anyone with a straight face. I'd probably enjoy something fuzzy for after showers and stuff. Especially in this blasted winter.

Winter hasn't been too bad here yet thankfully. We were snowed in by this time last year, but barely have any snow this year. I'm betting we get hit pretty hard by late January, early February.
