Terrania is a fairly young planet among the Beast Worlds, nearly the size of Earth if not smaller. It is untouched and still in its natural state, full of lush woodlands and many other wonders of nature.
Climate: As with most planets, the climate differs depending on where along the axis you travel. There is anything from scorching and bone-dry deserts to lush rain forests. To the south-west and the north-east, you have the arctic tundras with frigid temperatures and snowy weather, neither of which see an entirely lot of sunshine for most of the year. To the east one could find the rain forests where even the trees are covered with the green of other plants that grow upon them. The rain forests are home to many of the planets creatures, such as the Kirl, predatory creatures that could be described as a terrific mix of wolf and bear in appearance.
Inhabitants: Terrania is ruled by creatures both great and small, from cunning predators to the small insects that burrow beneath the dirt. Among the more evolved lifeforms of this planet are the Wisps, little sprite like creatures.
Technology: The extent of technology this planet has could be compared to the middle ages of Earth. The Wisps can forge rudimentary tools and objects out of metals they find and have learned enough to be able to build living spaces from stone and wood. Overall, the inhabitants are still fairly primitive.
Physical Traits:
For the general part, wisps will appear as little glowing orbs of light unless they wish to show themselves to another being. Fully grown, they only reach to a height of about 4 to 4 ½ inches and weigh about as much as a feather. Hair colour and eye colour varies, being anything from more natural colours such as brown or black to more exotic colours such as white and lavender. They are anthropomorphic in terms of body shape though the exact shape, whether slim or more heavy-set, varies from Wisp to Wisp. Generally, clothing is normally quite modest and coloured to suit the surroundings. For example, Wisps that live in or near the forest will have a tendency to wear browns or green while those that live near bodies of water will don garments of light grays and blues. Wisps also have wings in various shapes, sizes and colours along with little antenna that curl out from the near the forehead. For the most part, they just look like very tiny humans, though with ears that are more pointed than rounded.
Personality Traits:
Personality varies from Wisp to Wisp, as with most beings, though they do have a tendency to be mischievous and trouble-makers of all sorts along with having a fondness for games and riddles.
Culture:
There is no hierarchy in their culture, though the elders of each clan have the most say in things. For decisions that effect the entire clan, the thoughts and ideas of those involved must be run through the elders first to make sure its for the good of the clan and won’t cause them damage or suffering. Generally, they are a wild race and live as they please. Each clan has an area where they grow in abundance, be it a forest grove or a sea-side cavern. If any trespass in such areas, the Wisps will rise up to defend their territory by any means possible. As they are beings of nature, there are some that are able to bend the elements to their will to a degree, though they are not able to do so without years of training and even then it can be very exhausting in terms of energy.
Technology:
Very little to none. They are a rather unadvanced species, using wood and stones and what ever metals they can find to fashion weapons or housing or what other materials they might need.
Clans:
Clans are very basic, referring more to the area in which they live. An example would be the Forest Wisp whom would be residing in a grove or tree in the forest and a Water Wisp would be one who resides near water, whether a river or a lake.
