Okay, if done well, I can see this movie rocking everyones socks, but this is also a movie that can easily be badly done, 'cause they know nerds will flock by the thousands to see it multiple times regardless of how good it is.

Why is it always warcraft? Why not starcraft for a change?

They are going to make movies for Halo, Splinter Cell, and I think God of War... Hopefully the Warcraft or another of these other game movies will not be as bad as that Super Mario movie that was made.

Video game movies tend to suck, and Gen's example is all the evidence you need.
And video games being turned into movies isn't a big deal. Tons of them have been announced. Even Animal Crossing is getting one.

A-Animal Crossing? Christ almighty...
The Doom movie was alright... Video game movies aren't the worst, it is the movies turned into games that blow.

There's also supposed to be a Prince of Persia movie coming out, directed by the man who originally developed the game. I think it's going to be a Disney movie.

Prince of Persia... A Disney movie? The last two games were 'M' rated, so they must be making the first game into a movie.

Somehow I doubt that. But Disney doesn't always do G-rated movies. There has been a few PG-PG13 movies.

For the Prince of Persia movie, they will probably need to do an R. That game was pretty graphic.

I have not seen a G rated movie in a very long time.

There are barely an 'G' movies anymore. It is mostly PG-13 and PG these days.
