Man, Advance Wars by web kicks arse. I forced my opponent to surrender at this point, and It only took me 13 game days, and like 4-6 hours real time. Who cares if it was a little girl, I crushed her with my awesome strategery! The game is slow as hell, but its designed to make it you take your turn whenever you're able to, so its okay. If you don't know how to play advance wars, I strongly suggest you don't play AWBW, cause you won't be able to learn very quickly and there are no 'chat' things so you can't ask questions. D/L the rom first

The basics are, you build units on bases, you get money based on how many citys you captured. You capture citys with infantry and mech units. It takes 2 turns for a fully healed Inf/Mech to capture a city, and you have to click capture each turn for it to know you want to capture. The hierarchy of units are, Infantry get clobbered by most other units, Mechs when attacking do the same damage as a tank, but when defending, get clobbered just as much as infantry. Recons move far, but can only kill infantry easily. Tanks are probably what you should build the most, 'cause they do very good damage to basically everything that isn't another type of tank. Md, Neo and Mega tanks are just stronger versions of tanks, and thus, cost more, Antiair are good for infantry and air units. Artillery, Rockets, and missiles are indirect units, and they are confusing, and frankly, I don't want to explain it to you. If I forgot anyone, oh well. Now, CO's. Every Co, does different things to their units. For instance, One CO is good with capturing and has strong infantry/mechs, but is bad with other units. Here's the list: awbw.amarriner.com/co.phpCO powers only work when you deal or take a certain amount of damage. They usually only last one turn and can turn the tide of battle immensely if you use them right. Super CO powers WILL turn the tide if you don't waste them, and I suggest you wait for your Super CO power instead of using a CO power. Theres a link that says create a game, where you host the game, and choose what cos are banned and etc. Or you can join a game. I suggest you create a 1v1 game just to get the basics down, so you annoy the smallest ammount of people possible in your first game. I think thats it. I gotta study for finals. You create a game, wait forever for someone to join, and theres a very small button on the bottom left of the game box thing that says start game or something similar.
