It's been nice knowing you guys but at this point I think it's fair to say ZaRWoC is dead for good.
I've been here since... I don't know, 2005? Sometime around then. This place had a great community even if it only consisted of 10 or so people. I never got a hold of what the hell was going on in the roleplaying, but everything else on the site was awesome.
I originally came here because I saw Christi's comic way back when and even though in retrospect it was just a regular anime-style webcomic (which happened to have Megaman characters) I'm glad you made it anyway since it brought so many people together for a ridiculous quantity of time. Too bad Gen, Nam, Kyle and White Jet all disappeared.
Even though the forum is dead this doesn't have to be the end, so to speak. My contact details are all on my profile if you guys want to stay in touch, and I'll add any of you guys as well. And if someone who left the forum a while back and happens to be lurking it now is reading this, feel free to contact me as well.
Now I mostly hang out on DeviantArt and a few obscure internet forums. Even though I haven't posted anything lately on DA I still go there regularly and I'm working on honing my art skills so that eventually I won't think that my art completely sucks.
Anyway.
Thanks for the laughs, thanks for the drama.

I still check daily. I'm still in the mood for roleplay.

I check daily to see if anything new happens, but it never does.

You'll be surprised soon enough.

Me and christi decided to do a small quiet roleplay with some harvest moonish roots while I retool the current universe to where I am in the book. What we are doing has no large story or anything. Just a small quiet village for us to play in. It's more of a choose your own adventure book than anything else.

I'll look into it... Maybe. Meh.

I like how a thread proclaiming the forum is dead has spurred more activity.

Nah me and Christi had been planning this. It was timing is all.

Is it bad if I go through life remembering this place as being the extent my childhood? It pretty much was, I talked here waaay more than I talked to anyone from school back then.

Nah, there are a lot of memories here. Both good and bad. Every since I first created the forums, I saw it as being more like a huge online family rather than just an online community.

Alright, glad to see I wasn't the only one. I just recently remembered how massive the age gap is between me and some of you (8 years, Jesus....) so that's probably why I viewed you guys as godly as I did.
I've still got this place in my favorites in case there's some family reunion. Haven't talked to anyone besides Cutter and Nam [once] since.

There have been a lot of people I haven't seen or heard from in a while. It's life though, there are things like work and family and they might not necessarily have the time to get on... or they've outgrown the place. Either way, I still check back in every now and again to see if there's been any activity. As it is, the place is pretty much dead at the moment unfortunately...
