Then Cutter, you wouldn't know about the heat Sam packs. Sam's custom made assualt rifle can come with two attachments, grenade launcher and sniper. He also has his knife, and silenced pistol.
In Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, there are three options for each level: Assualt, Stealth, and Normal. Selecting assualt gives you more heavy weaponry, stealth more weapons for stealthy approaches, and normal gives you the normal set of weapons for the level. When Sam is in a fistfight, it is normal over before the enemy throws a punch. Sam sneaks up behind the enemy, and snaps their neck, sticks them with his knife, slits their throat, or knees them in the back.
In Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Naked Snake (The original Snake) gets tranquilizers, and must use his enemy's weapons during missions. He uses CQC, closed-quarters-combat, during fistfights.

Cause that will haunt us every time we think of a *blank* vs. *blank* idea.

History is doomed to repeat itself, Nam.

Guess so, but meh, Snake will win any fight just 'cause he's a friggen tank. He can take a full machine gun clip without any blood loss, or fatigue, or any slowdown of performance. Can Sam fisher beat that?

Maybe in the same bubblegum-magic world as Snake.

Maybe Gen... May be.

If Sam and Snake fought in a realistic battle, then I think Fisher would have the advantage because he wouldn't be hiding in an effing box with an obvious view hole.

Yeah. But to tie things back on topic, who would win. Snake or Samus? No wait, Gen, don't speak. I know your answer!

Actually, in all honesty, they are both evenly matched. If they were locked in a warehouse type room, with low lighting, and just crates of boxes of random stuff, with a few actually having guns, they'd probably fight for a few hours, and then, if one isn't dead, they'd realize that all they have to do is shoot the locks, and they work together to get out.

Snake is more tactical, and quicker. But Samus has armor, and hi-tech weapons.

Kyle... Samus has nothing to do with this discussion, how the hell did you ever THINK that Samus would have anything to do with this discussion, The Topic name clearly states taht its a "Sam Fisher vs Snake" thread.
