If you guys want to create a parallel universe thing I can make a catagory for it. Also Gen are we ever going to finish the "Kidnapper" thread?

Yeah, well... the more I give thought to this this starting over business, the more I see that its much easier for me to start an rp board, and make it the way I want it.

Keyword is the way YOU want it.

Exactly, 'cause the status quo apparantly over here is too important to change a couple things to make it less chaotic.

Sorry, I just realized my wording made it very unclear what I meant, and in my haste to respond, I turned the meaning into something completely different. I meant that the more I think about the prospect of starting over, the more I realized that its much less trouble to just make a new board than to try to make reforms in this board. The changes mostly would be getting a centralized plot, basing it more on original characters than game characters, and have game characters only if they make sense, and lastly, have some type of closure as needed.
I don't know why, but I never liked the prospect of a neverending story, because it gets to the point where the trouble gets too unrealistic. Like in Dragonball z, immediately after they kill one villain, another one pops up and goes on for another 50 kajillion episodes. I mean, c'mon. What are the chances of something like that happening only in their lifetime, never before and never again? Its like, once they die, and the trouble stops coming, period. No more threats to the galaxy 'cause the protectors are gone. You guys tried doing that with the different eras, but because the other eras didn't really have any closure, it turns into 3 neverending stories.
It might just be me, but I feel that rp's should be about storytelling more than anything else, and storys should have a beginning and an end.

I like that it keeps going. If you guys want to do the story shit post in the fan fic section.

Nam, I know how you feel too. The RP needs a little closure. The never ending aspect gets old after a while, it constantly calls for new ideas, and can get pretty tiresome.

And if you restart, then you don't have to worry about continuity and shit that already happened that negates the plot point you just made. Iunno. Open ended shit gets boring, 'cause it has to keep on being exciting and if comic book plots have told us anything, sooner or later you'll have plots that are either boring or already done.

Even if we do restart, what's to stop us from running it to the ground again? I don't mind the whole Parrallel thing as long as 23XX isn't the only era getting attention. The reason why I say this is because I am stripped of ideas at the moment on that era and I am in no mood to rack my brain to the point of coming up with posts that'll either drag on to boredom, or wind up in my characters doing something that will brainlessly get them killed.
Not only that, but I am getting kinda tired of having to post in 23XX everytime I jump in here to check up on recent RP posts. All it is, to me, is Lunamaria constantly getting kidnapped while Harpuia is forced to go out looking for her only to wind up doing something stupid and out of character while there is just...like...three pages of calmness once I FINALLY get her back. That's mostly why I stopped posting in 23XX during Gen's hiatus. Because I knew, the second I post something with Harpuia or perhaps someone else, the response I get is an overpowered and 100% unavoidable (Meaning it lands without me having any say in whether I can dodge or not) slap to submission and posts where, no matter what I do, it always ends in tragedy and frustration.
