Ilia took a deep breath of the fresh country air as she stepped out of the taxi that had brought her to the small village. It was a considerably lot better then the rank polluted air of the city, so fresh and untouched with scents of various flowers sweetening it. It was almost exactly how she remembered it from years back. She gave a quick thank you to the driver after having received help getting her suitcases out of the trunk, paying him the due for the ride there as well as a bit extra for how courteous he'd been. As the taxi left, she stared off down the road before her. She could only guess at what the future would hold for her in what would be her new home.

She follows the dirt path that leads to her cabin. It winds and twists through the woods heading up hill. She can hear the sounds of animals in the woods around her.

Ilia gave a smile as she hummed to herself. She found the spot to be absolutely perfect for her. It may have been a bit secluded, but it would allow her to be able to sit out on the front porch and admire the majesty of the forest. I would take a little while before she'd be able to personalize the place a bit more, but it would be well worth it. Ilia set down her suitcases for a moment so she could get the door open before heading inside to get herself unpacked and settled in for the moment. After setting away what little necessities it was she had brought with her, she headed out for the village to see everything it had to hold and to perhaps even meet a few of the locals.

She eventually arrives at the village outskirts. She can see a few people here and there going from building to building. She can see a few homes as well as a handful of shops.

Ilia decided her first priority would be to explore the shops and get to know where they were situated and what they provided for when she needed to get supplies. Along with that, she should probably introduce herself to the shop owners and get to know them a little so as not to seem rude. With that, she began for the shop closest to her to see what it was.

The closest shop is the general store. It seems they sell every day items such as food, toiletry items, and other every day living items.

Ilia made a mental note to herself about the place as she head over to the counter, preparing to introduce herself and hopefully get to know her neighbours names at the very least.

She finds she is at the front of the store next to the check out counter. There is a rather attractive looking man with short blazing red hair flipping through a magazine looking relatively bored. He has a store uniform on so he must be an employee.

"Ah, hello?" Ilia said to him, hoping she wasn't interrupting, though considering he looked bored she figured that he might welcome even a short conversation.

He looks up and then stands up. "Oh sorry about that. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting. I just moved here myself and was learning my way around and thought I would introduce myself while I'm at it. I'm Ilia, Ilia Bennemen," Ilia said with a smile, hoping she didn't come across as pushy or obnoxious.

"Oh. Hi. I'm Erik Lowen." He waves at her. "I run the best store here in misty valley. Don't let anyone else tell you other wise." He leans on the counter. "Most of my stuff is shipped in from the city but I do get fresh vegetables from the local farm once a month. So you'll want to check back with me at the end of the month."

"I'll keep that in mind," Ilia said, delighted at having made her first acquaintance. "Is there anything I should be careful of in the village? I mean, so I won't accidentally upset anyone or anything," she asked, hoping it wasn't too much and figuring it would be best to know ahead of time if she could rather than to find out by mistake and have to try and work things out.

He face palms. "Just be very careful. The people of this town are very interesting. In other words, things are not normal here."

"Oh, well, I'm sure it can't be too much worse than in the city..." Ilia said hopefully, sweat-dropping slightly at his proclaimation.
