The Magi seemed to be showing disappointment with the slow progression.

Kayman muffles a sigh, "This' gonna take all day. Why can't I be involved in that training anymore?"
There was a long pause before he shoots a glare over to the masked person standing below him, "So what if my sparring with Mose nearly blew our cover!? Those guys needed a jumpstart somewhere along the line! Half of them expressed bravado rather than a will to take us on after that session!"
Another long pause before Kayman stifles another sigh and turns his head back to the training, still eyeing the person, "Whatever...."

Mira seemed to be growing annoyed at the rest of the groups ineptitude, deciding to take matters into her own hands and force them to have to work towards something for once. She concentrate deeply on something, the land below their feet rumbling slightly before she lift her hands up, what appeared to be roots rising from the ground and ensnaring everyone to prevent them from moving anywhere. She wavered at the toll on her energy that had cost her, one of the Magi helping her stay upright. Mira caught her breath before addressing the group, "If you aren't going to take this more seriously, then unfortunately I'll shall have to force it. Starting now, no one leaves for anything unless you get free of bindings on your own... no helping anyone else nor asking for help."

Though Kayman didn't agree with Mira's method of drilling the reality of warfare into the trainees' heads, the fact she actually stepped up to slap them upside the head was more than amusing enough for him.
"However, the fact that they can't help each other in this matter is a little solitary, don't you think?" he muses particularly to those within his personal space, "There's no point of them ever being ready for any kind of battles if they don't learn the good of teamwork."

Mira seat herself nearby to wait and see if any of them would actually try and free themselves alone or if they'd take to thinking for themselves and disobey what she'd said by working together to loosen the bindings. Either way, they'd be forced to actually work harder then they had been if they didn't want to be stuck there for most of the day.

Kayman can sense a lot of fluster in the trainees' souls. Though it wasn't fully conclusive, he figured most of the fluster was directed at Mira mainly because she caused the ruckus and is now just sitting there, watching them struggle to break free.
Though this didn't make them too happy that she gets special treatment for thinking up the idea, Kayman still couldn't get involved unless the elusive person standing below him would stop making spiritual threats of tying him to the tree if he so much as thinks of jumping in to assert his idea of whipping the trainees into shape.

A smile started forming on Mira's face as a few of them managed to start breaking free, her Rakar Eran letting it on to her that they were using their own to communicate the methods they'd used between everyone else though she did nothing about it, content to view them actually putting some effort into their training for once. Hopefully this would drill it into their minds that they'd have to start taking things a bit more seriously.

Well, at least she isn't forcing them to fend for themselves COMPLETELY, Kayman thinks to himself. Perhaps he didn't need to interfere after all.
The two continue to watch the trainees and their Rakar break out of the predicament Mira entangled them in.

It was close to an hour before everyone had managed to free themselves, Mira standing up finally and dusting herself off. Hopefully with a bit more prodding, they would have the motivation to be able to do the same to get back at her for that little stunt as she was sure they'd want to.

Kayman was sure, if he or another outsider were to interfere and force the trainees to tense up a little, the Magi wouldn't be too worried over the thought of them attacking her for the sake of making her pay for crushing what pride they had left.

The Magi took over again, decide to discuss upon what it was Mira had done to give them a goal to aim for.

The two continue to watch, sensing whether or not the trainees understood, or were too pent up on their vengeance to pay attention to Mira's little wake-up call.

A good percent were paying attention, not wanting to be caught off guard like that again.
Mira caught the attention of the head Magi, discussing something over with him.

Kayman noticed the discussion, but was in no mood to figure out what it was. He just continues watching the trainees listen to and perform exactly as the Magi instructed.

Mira seat herself to wait while the Magi knelt down to study her familiar curiously, asking her the odd question every now and then.
