Actually all the songs are made by people. So it's mostly video game music and Anime.

I played EBA, Ouendan and Ouendan 2, lol piracy.
The later it came out, the better. Ouendan's presentation is dated and you can't skip the cutscenes. Ouendan 2 lets you skip all cutscenes, unlike EBA. That and Ouendan 2 has a more interesting layout of levels.
Kudos to Nintendo for making an English language version of the game, but I hope they make a sequel. I love the series to death, even if I am a filthy pirate, I'd totally buy the sequel... Assuming it comes out in Australia.
