A Vessh'Kul drone was walking down the corridor of a large, starship. He passed many other members of the Swarm that were residing on the ship. He approached a door and waved one of his hands, causing it to open.
The door revealed the bridge of the ship. Many Vessh'Kul were manning the consoles around the bridge. They were all chattering in various languages.
A woman was sitting in the captains chair. She was wearing a revealing, black one piece with golden fringes. She wore long gloves that reached up to her fore arm. The woman wore thigh-high leather, high-heeled boots. She had blond hair dun up in buns. Her eyes were red and piercing. A purple cape was draped over her right shoulder.
A tall Vessh'Kul stood beside her. He wore bandages around his head, with a slit in the bandages for his eyes. A large, tattered cloak hung from his shoulderpads. All four of his arms were crossed. He watched the view screen before him with an intense gaze.
The drone fell to one knee as he approached captain's chair.
"Envoy Azz'kal," said the drone, "We are approaching the homeworld of the Undeath. We will arrive within the next cycle."
The tall Vessh'Kul chuckled to himself, "Good... My Queen, what will you have us do when we arrive?"
The woman looked to Envoy Azz'kal and said, "I want the Swarm to be ready in the event they try something radical. I am risking a lot by leaving the hive..."
Envoy Azz'kal nodded, "Understood, milady. I will have the shrill riders on standby if they try to take you hostage. After all, they were once human, and humans are the most treacherous creatures in the universe. We cannot assume that since they have cut their ties from the humans that they have abandoned their previous human behaviors."
"We need to ally ourselves with them before the Draken can," said the woman, "The universe is massive. We can toss these Undeath wretches a bone or two in our conquest."
Envoy Azz'kal began to laugh madly, "Yes! They concern themselves with their technology! As long as we feed their curiosity, they will join us."
