Hymaleverist Hymaleverists are the weaker of the three Elysia-II inhabitents. They live in the southpole, which is an island of snow and icecaps pratically blanketing the only ocean on the planet. Hymaleverists are skittish, have few strong fighters, and prefer to handle situations through bribbery rather than battle. They revere themselves as merchants, shipping large supplies of frozen treats such as icecream and popsicles, weaponry, and Hymaleverist fish to other Elysia-II inhabitants and other colonies across the universe. Pasquin: The aquadic anthromorphic penguin race. Best known for their swimming skills and knowledge on fish, they are the best merchants to go to for a particular flavor in seafood. They are skittish at times, but friendly to all who visit their fish market. The Pasquin are like a colony of bees; one Pasquin would flee from a domestic kitten, but a large group has enough mass and sting to overwhem a battleship. Saberus: The heavy-weighted, anthromorphic walrus race. Despite being as lazy as the Domestica Ny-bold, Saberus males, in particular, always spend the afternoon exercising and protecting his family of females from intruders. Male Saberus have a poor sense of judgment in terms of gender (Most likely from hanging around his group of submissive women), and often criticize the way other male species treat their mates to the point where they're revered as only caring about what they see in a woman. Icelarticar: The anthromorphic polar bear race, and the only race who isn't afraid to get bloody. They prefer to fight with powerful armies rather than lead a bunch of grunts into an oncoming slaughter house. They are the only race in Elysia-II who never worry about the well-being of their own families because even the cubes are born to hold their own, making them less of a pack and more of an individual. Despite their bravery and lack of compation towards others, Icelarticars are are moderately friendly. They won't hang out with weaklings or moronic bystanders, but they do enjoy chatting up a storm with the locals at the nearest bar or mess hall.

The Tale of Unity and Life Many a tale is told, of the time where land and water ruled the planet. The ancestors of the land worship the sun for its warmth and brightness, while the ancestors of the water worship the moon for it's cool breeze and darkness.
Then one day, the ancestors of sky left their clouds to find a place to live. But they are unsatisfied with only the north side of the planet being land, and the south side being water.
The ancestors of the land tell the sky that if they stay in the sun, they will have land to walk on and rest their weary wings, and there is plenty of food to dine on; but the sky is sceptical. The ground is hot and the air is almost unbreathable.
The ancestors of the water laughed at the land, claiming they will burn to a crisp within a week of walking their hard surface. They tell the ancestors of the sky to stay with the moon. It's brightness is not scortching, and there is plenty of ice for them to stand upon; but sky is equally skeptical. The ground is cold and the air freezes their lungs.
Land and water began to bicker over where sky should live, ending in a war between what environment is best suited for the planet. Water flooded the lands and drowned out the Herdebra and Baboolan tribes, while rocks and metals rained upon the water, burying the Sealeaon and Arcumiho tribes.
Unable to see land and water battle themselves to extinction, the ancestors of the sky drove their wings between them. They suggest both environments, rather than use their powers to dominate the planet, they should combine them and form a new land, one where all sides can live in peace and harmony. Land and water consult with each other before agreeing to sky's idea to create a land of unity; one where sun and moon take turns, shining over one side of the globe for six hours before switching sides.
With land, air and water working together, the center of the planet busts into a lushious land of trees, lakes, and meadows. Finally, the ground is not too hot or cold, the air is not too scorching or fridget, and there is plenty of shade and sunlight to keep the ancestors calm and comfortable. For many years to come, ancestors of land and water mingled within the new environment, creating new tribes, races and cultures that will satisfy all who visit. The ancestors of the sky watch with please over the changes they have made, and continue to watch from the clouds to ensure land and water continue to work together to keep the planet alive and florishing. Culture Domestica: They are the more modern species of Elysia-II. Despite living in cottages made of stone, brick, or sometimes just plain tree logs, they have managed to create eco-friendly electronics that run on solar power, and vehicles that run on compressed air or hydrogen. The Domestica are said to have learned the human language from watching several different TV programs from a strange frequency they picked up on their cable boxes (They tend to watch Animal Planet more than any of the other channels they picked up). They make excellent animal trainers most likely because of they once spoke languages similar to that of their domestic and wild counterparts. Domesticas hold yearly festivals called "Years Wake", a New Year's take on the blessing of their homeland and how long it has been thriving since land and water clashed together, as depicted in children stories and theatrical plays shown during the festival. At midnight of Elysia-II's 12-hour rotation by the sun, villagers around the forest crumble the old leaves of autumn and spread them into the windy sky as a show of thanks for future florishments to come. Managassca: Being the native creatures of Elysia-II, they worship the spirits, the land and their ancestors. They have little knowldge of modern day techonology, only being used by the Paledons, Lionel and Mir-Kat. Managasscas can also sense the lifeforce and mood of all who vist their land, only driving away those who "burn with darkness". Lacking intergalactic technology, many of the Managasscas tend to forget the names of many materials, calling them, what the Cygaxians have dubbed "Sub-native language". The most common Sub-native language are the following: Metal Bison = Ground vehicles such as cars, vans and hovercrafts. Shiny Thunderclouds = Spacecrafts such as shuttles, probes, and pods. Blood from the Sun = Long-range weapons that fire plasma energy. Fists from the Sun = Short/medium-range weapons with blades made of plasma. Hairless Baboolon from Space = Managassa's depiction of humans arriving from space for exploration. Primitive Beings = Depictions of domestic and wild animals on earth and other planets lacking their range of intellegence, perticularly those of their own kind. Dreams that are Shared = Depiction of television and computers. Dreams to Interact With = Depiction of video and computer games. Because the sun only floats on the horizon, giving off a never ending afternoon, many Managassca species only sleep when they are exhausted. Victory after a hunt depends on what they shoot down. If a large meal is caught, they will celebrate with a feast fit for a king. Moderate meals only garner a Thanksgiving gathering around the table, and scraps are only served within individual tribes. Mir-Kats and Paledons are the only Managasscas who don't celebrate their catches. Hymaleverists: Everything is snow themed. Many Hymaleverists wear scarves, hats and parkas remanicent of eskimos. They were recently told of Christmas on earth and loved the tradition so much, they celebrate it every six months. Hymaleverists eat more ice than they do meat or vegetables. They only eat fish during dinner and spend most of breakfast and lunch eating ice cream and popcicles. They love to swim and will dive in almost any water that's cold and refreshing. The outer corners of Hymaleverist is the prime swimming pool for visiters up for a cold dip. They also enjoy watching television and playing games. Despite having night all year round, they have found ways to incorperate electricity without having to resort to eco-damaging measures. They are the first known species to create lunar power, which uses the glow of the moon to power their electronics, so they don't have to worry about how they can watch their favorite shows without intruding on Domestica and using their solar powered technology for themselves.

Military Military among Elysia-II is almost identical to pack structure and instincts of earth's animals, but domesticated and wild. K-bolds, Lionel and Mir-Kats work best if they lead their own packs. They often create their own crew from a selection of brave and obediant members of their respected tribe and set off to brandish a ship of their own. K-bolds who don't lead a pack are willing to partner up with another fleet, working best as fighters and bombers of their respected army. Lionels prefer to lead a charge rather than rack their brains figuring out how to move "Shiny Thunderclouds" and fire "Bloods from the Sun". They often have their family of Lionals working on controls and targeting as they have a better idea of what they're dealing with. Lionels who can't get their own fleet are often reduced to medical doctors, using Managassca herbs and remedies to heal those wounded in battle. Mir-Kats are best known for both their pack swarm and willingness to follow orders. Unlike K-bolds and Lionels, Mir-Kats are run by two leaders, a female and a male, often as a couple. The female is the sole leader of the charge while the male acts as a backup in case she is needed for solo missions and negociations. Mir-Kats prefer to use Fighters and Bombers to ambush their targets rather than control larger aircrafts. The larger their army, the more overwhelmed many enemies will be. Ny-bolds, Ranookis and Kumitsunes make ideal stealth assassins. Ny-bolds can hide in cramped spaces for a long amount of time before striking with lightning fast claws and daggers. Ranookis don't kill their enemies by surprise. They prefer to sneak into an enemy space craft and steal what they can for use with their allied forces. Kumitsunes use their magic to change their bodies and take on another appearance, fooling onlookers and leaking necessary information to allied forces for use in later battles. When confronted, they will use a variety of offensive magic spells to corrupt machines and shut down shuttles, or mortally wound their attackers. They also make prime medical doctors, using healing magic to mend wounds and revitalize those who have managed to survive the battlefield. Hymaleverists are the least willing to battle. Saberus and Icearticars are lone wolves who prefer take matters into their own hands rather than take orders or lead a charge from another group. Pasquins are the opposite of Mir-Kats; they will only fight if there are more than 10 in the group. Less than that, or the leader is shot down, and they flee to the nearest hazard zone they could find. The leader is one who encourages the most Pasquins into a swarm attack. Hyenide and Snarlhogs are strictly ambush fighters. Snarlhogs, with their tough, heat-resistant bodies will ram their bombers into the hulls of enemy battleships just for the thrill of being blasted halfway across the galaxy. Rather than wear breathing masks, they shove respirator tubes down their throats and use it as oxygen when blown out of their crafts. Hyenides will blast open hulls and breach battleships, attacking and devouring as many crewmembers as their stomachs can handle before they're either caught or get the final warnings to abandon ship before it blows.

Longevity Elysia-II is the third known species to outlive humans, but their finite lifespan is rather unusual. They don't physically grow until they are roughly 100 years old. It takes them 10 years to grow from blind and deaf newborns to month old infants; and will stay that way for the next 90 years. It will then take them another 100 years to grow to adulthood and so on. The longest a species has been known to live is 9000 years. Surprisingly enough, despite being infants for the next century, they learn basic ethnics (Walking, talking, eating, swimming, and education) as quickly as normal growing children, making them the youngest geniuses to attend a universe before reaching adulthood. The only thing that would hide their brightness is their lack of mental stamina, spending more time sleeping and playing than paying attention to their teachers.
